Here at New Hope we endeavor to emulate our Savior’s love and care for children. Throughout Scripture God shows His character to be one that cares for the weak, the needy, the powerless, and the poor. This includes children, foreigners sojourning in a foreign place, the poor, the sick, the widows, and orphans. As we seek to bear His image we recognize that children are vulnerable, and protecting them calls for forethought and intentional policies that limit who leads and teaches them, as well as how they interact with them.
